BLAZE Appliance
The BLAZE Appliance is a hardware product that comes with the BLAZE server and client software pre-installed. Use the appliance to set up and operate the BLAZE system quickly and conveniently, without separate hardware configuration or software installation.
BLAZE installed on the appliance provides the same interface and features as the desktop version of BLAZE.
Supported operating system
The BLAZE Appliance (server and client) supports the Ubuntu 22.04 (x86_64) environment.
Checking CPU and memory information
Click
to check real-time CPU and memory status. To prevent system overload, video output is automatically limited to I-frames only when CPU usage exceeds 90%.
Time display
When using the local client on a monitor connected to the BLAZE Appliance, the current system date and time are shown in the top-right corner of the screen. The date format follows the format configured in Client settings > General > Time format.
The BLAZE Appliance applies the system date/time format and time zone configured by the user (e.g., Dec 30, 2025 4:05:02 PM), and the time is updated in real time down to the second.
Screenshot
While using BLAZE Appliance, you can capture the current screen and save it as an image file. Captured screenshots can be viewed immediately in the Files panel. The captured image is saved at the same resolution and size as the screen currently being viewed.
- The Default export path must be configured before you can capture screenshots. If you attempt to capture a screenshot without a configured export path, an error message is displayed.
To capture a screenshot
- Click the Help icon (
) in the upper-right corner of BLAZE Appliance. - Select Screenshot from the shortcut menu.
