Server installation

Download and install the BLAZE server software on a PC. If antivirus software and network firewall settings are enabled, they may affect PC performance and prevent the BLAZE software from operating smoothly (video recording, data storage, etc.).
Note: The default server port is 8000.

System requirements

Check the system requirements before installing the server. System specifications vary depending on the number of devices in use, and the program may not function properly if the minimum specifications are not met.

Supported operating systems

  • Microsoft Windows (x86_64): Windows 10 (version 1809 or later), Windows 11, Windows Server 2019
  • Ubuntu Linux (x86_64): Ubuntu 22.04 (x86_64)

Note:
  • The system requirements are based on the recording status of devices added to the server, excluding real-time monitoring. (Video codec: 2MP 30 fps, H.264/H.265 compression)
  • For Linux servers, disks with a total capacity under 100 GB cannot be used for recording and are not shown in the storage list in Server Settings.

Downloading the server installer

Download the server installer from the BLAZE product page on the Hanwha Vision website.

Installing the server

Run the installer to install the server. Installation time may vary depending on the installation environment.
Note: If you delete the installer and reinstall, the existing system's recorded video files are not automatically deleted. To delete recorded files, delete the storage folder or format the storage drive.
