Using map images
Use the map feature to visually manage and control speaker locations on a facility floor plan.
To add speakers to map images
For information on adding a map, see Creating a map.
- Home page, click View.
- In the View tab's navigation bar, click
(Map). - In the Maps panel list, double-click the desired map or drag it to the screen panel to load it.
- To add a new map, click
in the lower-left of the Maps panel, select
Add map from the shortcut menu, click Add background
to add a background image, and then click Save.
- To add a new map, click
- Click Edit map at the top-right, then open the Devices
panel from the navigation bar and drag the speaker you want to place from the device list to the desired location on the map background image.
- Speaker devices on the map background image are shown with
, making it easy to identify installed speaker locations on the map background image. - After selecting a speaker, change the size of the speaker icon displayed on the map from the Details panel.
- Check the speaker's network connection status (online, offline).

- Click Save.
To control speakers on map images
Control speakers directly from the map to start a live broadcast.
- Click the speaker icon you want to control on the map.
- The details pane will open automatically.
- In the details pane, click
Speak through this device icon to transmit real-time voice and start broadcasting.
