Searching for vehicles and license plates

To search for vehicles and license plates

1. On the Home page, click Objects.
2. Click the Time filter to display the date selection panel. In the date selection panel set the start/end date and time range to search for events and click .
3. Click the Devices filter to open the Select Device window and view the device list. Select the device to search for video and click Select.
4. In Type, select Vehicle or License Plate and specify detailed filters.
   • If Vehicle is selected
     • Subtype: Select the type of vehicle to detect (passenger car, bus, truck, SUV, van, pickup truck, bicycle, etc.). Multiple selections allowed.
     • Color: Select the color of the vehicle. Multiple selections allowed.
     • Brand: Enter the vehicle manufacturer brand to detect.
     • Model: Enter the model name of the vehicle to detect.
   • If License plate is selected
     • Number: Enter the license plate number to detect.
       Note: License plate number searches support the following matching options.

       • Searches are performed even when only part of the license plate number is entered. (e.g., AB, C1, or C123)
       • Searches are not case-sensitive. (e.g., abc123 or Bc)
     • Country: Enter the country of the license plate to detect.
     • State/province: Enter the state or province of the license plate to detect.
5. Search results with the applied filters are shown as thumbnails in the results panel. Selecting a result opens the event status panel.
