Adding a user
The BLAZE system supports adding both Cloud users and Local users. Cloud users can access multiple systems with a single account when BLAZE is connected to the Hanwha Vision Cloud, while Local users can access only the current connected system.
Users are assigned to roles that define permissions for each function, and logged-in users can only use the functions allowed by their assigned role. Applying permission groups defined in roles lets you manage many users conveniently by grouping them by permission.
- Only users with Super administrator or Administrator privileges can add other users.
- Super administrators can add Administrators, Operators, and Viewers.
- Administrators can add Operators and Viewers.
- For detailed information about user permission groups, see Roles.

Enabling a user
- If you toggle the Enable user switch to Off, a notification bar appears at the top.
- Select multiple users and toggle Enable user to On to enable them all at once.
Users set to Off will have their accounts deactivated and will not be able to log in to BLAZE. Be cautious when changing a user's status.
- Disabling a user registered in BLAZE allows you to restrict their access while keeping the account intact. For users who regularly use BLAZE, you can manage them by enabling or disabling the account rather than adding or deleting it.
Setting up synchronization with LDAP groups
- Synchronizing LDAP groups with BLAZE roles causes changes to LDAP user groups to be reflected in BLAZE roles. Additionally, deleting a user from an LDAP group automatically removes their information from BLAZE.
- If you toggle Link roles with LDAP groups to Off, changes in LDAP user groups will not be reflected in BLAZE roles.
- Mapping information between LDAP groups and BLAZE roles can only be modified or deleted when synchronization is set to Off.
