Configuring video file settings

When adding a video file from the Files panel to a layout in the Scene panel, verify the digital signature or configure the settings for fisheye dewarping. If adding a password-protected video file to a layout, enter the video password to play the video.

Video file password authentication

Enhance security by entering a password when saving a video. If you do not enter the password set for the video or enter it incorrectly, the video file added to the layout will not play.

To authenticate a video file password
  1. Double click the desired video file from the Files panel or drag it to a layout.
    • Video files with passwords set will be indicated as .
  2. In the Open file dialog, enter the video password.
  3. Click OK to play the video.
    Note:
    • If the wrong password is entered, click Re-authenticate on the file item to re-enter the password.
    • When saving videos stored in BLAZE as files, set a password by saving them in .blzm or .exe format. For more information on saving videos, see Exporting the video as a file.

Digital signature verification for video files

If you set a digital signature when saving a video file, an authentication certificate will be included in the file. By checking the status of the certificate included in the file, verify whether the video has been tampered with or altered. Add the video file to a layout to verify the digital signature.

To verify digital signatures for video files
  1. Drag the desired video file from the Files panel to a layout in Scene.
  2. Right-click on the layout and select Verify digital signature from the shortcut menu that appears.
  3. In the Verify digital signature dialog, the verification result is displayed.
    • Successfully verified: The video file includes a digital signature using the certificate, and the authentication information has been successfully verified.
    • Video has been altered: The file has been tampered with abnormally, making it impossible to verify the authentication information.
    • No certificate: When saving the video, if the digital signature function is not used, the file will not include certificate information, making it impossible to determine whether the file has been tampered with.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog.
Note: When saving a video stored in BLAZE as a file, set a digital signature by choosing the .blzm or .exe format. For more information on saving videos, see Exporting the video as a file.
