Semantic AI
To use the Semantic AI search feature, install the Semantic AI app and manage banned words used for searches.
The app can be uninstalled and reinstalled.
Note: For instructions on using semantic search, see Object_Appliance_GenerativeAI.dita. To use Semantic AI search, first install the Semantic AI app and turn on the Enable Semantic search toggle.
Note: Semantic search is supported only on specific models of the BLAZE Appliance.
Updating the Semantic AI app
You can update the Semantic AI app installed on the BLAZE server.
Note: Only users with Super administrator privileges can install or update the Semantic AI app.
Note: On BLAZE Appliance systems, the AI app is pre-installed and does not require separate installation.
To update the app
- Click Settings > Servers.
- Select the desired server from the server list on the Servers settings page.
- In the server settings panel, click the Semantic AI tab.
- Click Update AI app.
- In the Update AI app dialog box, click Browse, select the app file, and then click Next.
- When the app update is complete, click Finish.
Managing banned words
The BLAZE system includes a built-in list of banned words. However, the complete list is not disclosed for security reasons. System administrators can add specific words to supplement the list.
Note: Only System administrators can manage the banned words list. Individual server administrators do not have permission to access it.
To add banned words
- Click Manage banned words.
- Add banned words in the input field.
- You can add multiple words at once by using commas (,) or pressing Enter. For example, enter words separated by commas, such as "word1, word2", or enter one word per line and press Enter to add it to the list.
Note: Only alphabetic characters are allowed. Special characters are not permitted. - Click Save.
You can delete individual words from the custom list or clear the entire list by using the Delete all feature.
