Searching for video

Search for recorded videos stored in BLAZE using various methods. Events generated by devices connected to BLAZE are stored as video according to event rule settings. In addition to device video analysis events, system events such as device disconnection and server disconnection are also recorded. Search event videos stored on the server by criteria such as event type, object, and bookmark, then play them back or export them to a file.

Note: Depending on the assigned user role, the ability to play recorded videos or export searched videos may be limited.

MAC address-based recorded video management

The BLAZE system manages recorded videos based on the MAC address, a unique identifier of the device. Even if device settings are changed or disks are moved, recordings can be searched and played without interruption as long as the device has the same MAC address.

  • If a camera is deleted and re-registered, or if the IP address changes during registration, previous recorded data can be accessed as long as the MAC address is the same.
  • If a camera with the same MAC address is currently registered on the server, past recordings on that disk can be connected and viewed.
Note: Continuity is guaranteed only for video data; object, event, and IVA data are not linked.
