- Click the BLAZE icon to open the Server Certificate dialog. In the Server certificate dialog, you can view the certificate type, fingerprint, and serial number.
Understanding the server’s authentication status
The icon displayed next to each server indicates the server status.
- Valid: Server authenticated
- Expired: Server certificate expired or revoked
- Invalid: Server certificate unavailable
Replacing the certificate
The SSL certificate for the BLAZE server can be replaced by copying a new certificate file (.crt) and its corresponding private key file (.key) to the designated folder, followed by restarting the server.
- Prepare a new pair of certificate (.crt) and private key (.key) files.
- Delete the currently used certificate file (.crt), and copy the new certificate pair to the following folder:
- Windows: <%INSTALLER.NAME%>\cert
- Ubuntu: <%INSTALLER.NAME%>/cert
Note: To apply the new certificate, the BLAZE server must be restarted after the file copy is completed.
If multiple certificate pairs (.crt and .key) are copied to the designated folder, the BLAZE server validates each certificate and selects the one with the longest validity period among the valid certificates. Any unused files are automatically deleted.
