Configuring event settings

To configure detailed event detection settings

1. Click Settings > Devices.
2. On the Device settings page, select the camera from the device list.
3. In the Device settings panel, click the Events tab.
4. Click the desired event tab.
5. When finished, click Apply.

Temperature

A temperature detection event triggers when the measured temperature exceeds the camera's configured threshold.

Shock

Shock detection triggers when the device detects impact, vibration, or displacement.

• Sensitivity: Set sensitivity from 1–100.

Fog

Fog detection triggers when visibility is reduced due to fog.

• Sensitivity: Set sensitivity from 1–100.
• Minimum duration (sec): Specify the minimum continuous duration required for detection (1–60 seconds).

Tampering

Tampering detection triggers when the camera view is obstructed or the camera's position changes.

• Sensitivity: Set sensitivity from 1–100.
• Minimum duration (sec): Specify the minimum continuous duration required for detection (1–60 seconds).

Defocus

Defocus detection triggers when the camera lens loses focus and the image becomes blurred.

• Sensitivity: Set sensitivity from 1–100.
• Minimum duration (sec): Specify the minimum continuous duration required for detection (1–60 seconds).

Early fire

Early fire detection triggers when analysis of flame, smoke, and temperature indicates a possible fire. For detailed detection conditions, see the camera help.

Audio

Audio detection triggers when sound exceeds the configured level while the camera records video.

Sound classification

Detected sounds are classified by type, and sound classification events are generated accordingly.

• Type: Select the type of sound to detect.
  • Scream: Detects sudden loud sounds such as screams or shouts from an adult male, adult female, or child.
  • Crashing glass: Detects the sound produced when a glass object (e.g., glass, mirror, or window) breaks. Laminated glass and other types of glass that do not shatter when broken are not detected.
  • Vehicle horn: Detects vehicle horn sounds from cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Recorded horn sounds played through a speaker may not be detected.
  • Tire screech: Detects the friction noise generated between tires and the road surface during sudden braking.
  • Extreme decibel: Detects extremely loud sounds of 120 dB or higher. (Supported only on the SPS-A100M and SPS-A8016 models.)
  • Aggression: Detects loud or threatening voices intended to attract attention.
  • Keyword: Detects specific words. You can select the words to detect.
    • Detectable words: Gun, Police, Shooter, Emergency, Stop it, Fire, Help/Help me, 살려주세요 (Save me), 도와주세요 (Help me).
    • Note: Detection accuracy is highest when the words are spoken with native-level pronunciation and intonation. Detection may be limited when pronunciation is inaccurate or speech includes a strong regional accent.
  • Voice: Detects human speech or vocal activity, including talking to oneself.
    • Duration: Set the detection duration. For example, if set to 3 seconds, an event is generated only when human speech continues for 3 seconds or longer.
• Audio clip: Records audio when an event occurs.
  • Pre-recording duration: Set the pre-recording duration based on the point at which the audio is detected.
  • File type: Select the file format (WAV or MP3) used to save audio clips.
